$744M Wells FiNet Team Joins &Partners After 2024 Internal Move

Rowland Sullivan left Wells after a 2024 FiNet staging step; &Partners has now pulled multiple Wells-origin books, including Crown Legacy and this $744M Missouri team.

Patrick Rowland and Jacob Sullivan have left Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network for &Partners with about $744 million in client assets, AdvisorHub reported. The practice, Rowland Sullivan Wealth Management, is based in Lake Ozark, Missouri, with a satellite office in Macomb, Illinois. &Partners counted the group as its 127th advisor practice.

The full eight-person team moved together. Partners and wealth advisors Jesse Dale and Lauren Kane joined the principals. Ashley Black, wealth consultant and director of operations, also made the jump, along with wealth management associates Tyler Dinsdale, Barbara Davis, and Kassie Wollbrink. Clients stay with the same roster; the change is the broker-dealer and custody stack underneath them.

FiNet first, then the exit

This was not a single-step breakaway. In 2024, Rowland and Sullivan transferred inside Wells Fargo from the Private Client Group into FiNet. That channel put them on independent-style infrastructure while they stayed in the Wells ecosystem. The &Partners move completes the second hop.

FiNet is Wells Fargo's independent network for advisors who want more control over their practice without leaving the firm entirely. For some teams it becomes a long-term home. For Rowland Sullivan it functioned as a staging ground: prove the ops model inside Wells, then leave for a firm built by former Wells leadership.

Rowland started at A.G. Edwards & Sons in 2005 and joined Wells Fargo in 2008. Sullivan began at Edward Jones in 2008 and moved to Wells Fargo in 2011. Between them, the partners have nearly two decades of wirehouse tenure before this exit.

&Partners' Wells pipeline

&Partners was founded in 2023 by David Kowach, John Alexander, and Kristi Mitchem, all former Wells Fargo executives. That pedigree shows up in recruiting. The Rowland Sullivan deal fits a broader pattern of large Wells Fargo teams choosing to leave.

Recent Wells-origin arrivals at &Partners include 32 North Wealth of Meridian, Mississippi, with about $1.8 billion in pre-hire assets (July 2026); Ham Park Advisors of Florham Park, New Jersey, with about $730 million (November 2025); and Crown Legacy Wealth's $838 million exit. Rowland Sullivan adds another $744 million from FiNet. Combined, those Wells-linked adds alone top $4 billion in pre-hire assets. As of September 1, 2026, &Partners reported about $63 billion in total assets.

What the numbers show

$744 million across eight people is roughly $93 million per team member. The group arrives as a staffed unit, not a solo breakaway that needs to rebuild ops from scratch. Lake Ozark is not a coastal mega-market, but the book size puts the practice in the same recruiting conversation as larger coastal teams.

For Wells Fargo, the retention question is concrete: another FiNet team used the channel as a bridge rather than a long-term home. For &Partners, practice number 127 is another Midwestern book landed by a firm whose founders know the Wells playbook from the inside.

WirehouseHUB will keep tracking Wells FiNet departures and &Partners recruiting as more of these second-hop moves land.
