UBS Recruits $500M Merrill Team in Bellevue
The Bellevue move gives UBS a $500 million planning-focused practice in the Pacific Northwest.
UBS has recruited The Hall Wealth Management Group from Merrill Lynch in Bellevue, Washington, adding a practice that managed approximately $500 million in client assets.

The practice is led by financial advisor John Hall and includes advisor Aaron Marshall and Client Associate Jennifer Teddy. It will retain The Hall Wealth Management Group name at UBS.
The team works with clients on financial planning, investment management, tax-aware strategies and business-succession planning.
A Pacific Northwest Win From Merrill
Hall's team joins the UBS Pacific Northwest Market and reports to Market Director Cy Aleman. The move adds an established planning-focused practice to UBS's Bellevue presence.
The direct move from Merrill Lynch is also notable as UBS seeks to show that it can recruit experienced teams from its largest wirehouse competitors. The Bellevue hire was announced September 4 alongside separate Morgan Stanley team wins in Colorado and Maryland.
