UBS Recruits $187M Raymond James Team in Washington
UBS gains a veteran Washington team with decades of experience serving wealthy families and businesses.
UBS has recruited financial advisors Sheldon Ray and Asif Bhally from Raymond James in Washington, D.C., adding a team that managed approximately $187 million in client assets.
Three Decades of Client Relationships
Ray and Bhally have served ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth families and businesses for more than 30 years. UBS announced their arrival on June 18 among a series of hires across its Southeast Region.
The advisors join UBS's Mid-Atlantic Market, which includes the Washington area and is led by Market Executive Brendan Graham and Market Director Mark Livoti.
A Veteran-Team Win for UBS
The hire expands UBS's presence in a market with a deep base of business owners, executives and multigenerational families. It also shows that the firm's recent recruiting has extended beyond the largest billion-dollar teams.
Ray and Bhally bring the kind of long-tenured local practice that can strengthen a branch beyond its reported asset total: durable client relationships, established referral networks and experience with complex wealth.
