UBS Recruits $120M J.P. Morgan Advisor in Fort Lauderdale
The move adds an experienced J.P. Morgan advisor to UBS's growing South Florida footprint.
UBS has recruited financial advisor Evan McGrath from J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in Fort Lauderdale, adding a practice that managed approximately $120 million in client assets.
More Than a Decade in Wealth Management
McGrath brings more than a decade of financial-services experience to UBS. The firm announced his arrival on June 18 as part of a group of Southeast hires spanning Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Washington.
He joins UBS's Florida market at a time when South Florida continues to attract wealthy families, business owners and financial-advisor teams.
A Targeted South Florida Addition
The $120 million practice is smaller than the billion-dollar teams that tend to dominate recruiting headlines, but the hire is strategically relevant. Fort Lauderdale sits inside one of the country's most competitive and fastest-growing wealth corridors.
Recruiting McGrath from J.P. Morgan also broadens the range of firms UBS has been able to recruit from during its recent rebound.
