UBS Recruits $1.4B Morgan Stanley Team in Colorado

The Pueblo team is the largest of UBS's three September 4 recruiting wins by client assets.

UBS has recruited a three-advisor Morgan Stanley team managing approximately $1.4 billion in Pueblo, Colorado, marking the largest of three recruiting wins the firm announced on September 4.

A Deeply Experienced Colorado Practice

Caitlin Alcon, Calvin Mason and Craig Cisney will join UBS's Mountain West Market, led by Market Executive Mitch Markley, and report to Market Director Justin French.

Mason has nearly 35 years of brokerage and advisory experience, including 13 years each at Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo. Alcon has more than 25 years in financial services and has worked at Morgan Stanley, RBC and Piper Jaffray. She specializes in financial planning.

Cisney spent 13 years at Morgan Stanley after an earlier 17-year career as a broadcast meteorologist in Colorado.

Why the Pueblo Move Stands Out

At $1.4 billion, the team's client book makes the move one of UBS's most significant recent recruiting wins. It also gives the firm an experienced practice with long-standing roots outside the country's largest coastal wealth centers.

The move was announced alongside separate UBS hires in Bethesda, Maryland, and Bellevue, Washington. Together, the three teams had managed approximately $2.65 billion.
