Merrill's Singer Maxey Team Joins Raymond James in Bend, Oregon

Singer Maxey Wealth Management left Merrill for Raymond James in Bend with about $4.7 million in reported annual production, clearing WirehouseHUB's automatic coverage bar for wirehouse moves.

Andrew R. Singer and Storm L. Maxey, the Bend, Oregon advisors behind Singer Maxey Wealth Management, have left Merrill Lynch for Raymond James & Associates. Public registration summaries show both advisors listed with Raymond James in Bend beginning in September 2026, after roughly fifteen years for Singer and a decade for Maxey on the Merrill and Bank of America side of the street.

Industry coverage first flagged the move on Oct. 12, putting the team's annual production near $4.7 million and citing a Forbes ranking of about $450 million in client assets. WirehouseHUB treats those figures as reported, not independently audited. Support staff named with the practice include Cindy Rounds, Gina Reedy and Cecelia Howard.

Singer's CRD is 2735498. Registration summaries show him at Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith in Bend from July 2011 through September 2026, with a parallel Bank of America, N.A. affiliation over the same stretch, and earlier registrations with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services dating to the mid-1990s. He holds Chartered Financial Consultant credentials and Series 63 and 66 exams, with state registrations that have included Oregon, Texas and California. His Bend office address on the Raymond James records is 1001 SW Disk Drive, Suite 104.

Maxey's CRD is 3258553. Her path is a Central Oregon loop that started inside Raymond James: public profiles show early roles at Raymond James Financial Services around 2007-2010, a stretch at RBC Capital Markets from 2010 to 2016, then Merrill from 2016 until the 2026 return to Raymond James & Associates in Bend. She holds Series 63 and 66 registrations and has been described as specializing in retirement, education and multigenerational planning.

The timing lines up with Raymond James' stated push to grow on the West Coast. AdvisorHub noted that in September the firm also landed a San Francisco UBS group with about $4 million in annual production, and earlier in 2026 Raymond James recruited large books from Comerica in Los Angeles and City National in Beverly Hills. For Merrill, the Bend exit is a mid-market producer loss in a secondary Oregon market rather than a coastal private-wealth raid, but $4.7 million in reported revenue is the kind of number that still clears WirehouseHUB's automatic coverage threshold.

WirehouseHUB has tracked Merrill on both sides of the recruiting ledger this fall, including the firm's addition of Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo teams totaling about $770 million in reported assets and earlier West Coast and Southwest wins. The Singer-Maxey departure is a reminder that the same markets Merrill is trying to restock can also leak experienced regional producers to regional and independent platforms that sell local autonomy.

Neither Merrill nor Raymond James had issued a detailed public statement on the Bend hire that WirehouseHUB could locate as of Oct. 13, 2026. BrokerCheck and related registration feeds remain the cleanest confirmation that the advisors are now affiliated with Raymond James in Bend; how many client accounts follow will show up only as those transfers clear.
